Set up in 2 minutes.
Postals is an MCP server. Install it, paste it into your agent's config, fund your wallet, and your agent can send real handwritten postcards via USPS.
-
01
Install the package.
One command. The package is published on npm and works in every MCP-compatible client: Claude Desktop, Cursor, Claude Code, OpenClaw, n8n, LangChain, and anything else that speaks the protocol.
-
02
Add it to your config.
Paste this into your MCP client's config file. The shape is identical in every client. Just point it at the
postals-mcpbinary you installed above. The API key goes inPOSTALS_API_KEY; you'll get one in step three.Need the file path? Claude Desktop config lives at
~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.jsonon macOS. Other clients have their own; check their docs. -
03
Fund your wallet.
$4.99 per card. $5 minimum deposit. Prepaid credits, no subscription, no monthly fee. The balance sits there until your agent spends it. Stripe checkout takes about a minute.
The dashboard is also where you set spend limits (“max 25 cards a day”), enable auto-reload, and revoke API keys if anything goes sideways.
That's it.
Tell your agent something like: “Send a postcard to John at 123 Main St, Austin TX 78701, saying his pool looks great in the satellite imagery.” Your agent reads /skill.md, calls send_postcard, and the card is in USPS the same day.
